In compliance with Regulation 2016/679 General Data Protection Regulation dated April 27, 2016, Members are informed that the personal data associated with them will be incorporated into PURPLE BOOST’s processing activity log.
What data will we process?
The data collected will only be that requested on the membership registration form available on the website. In this regard, in order to become a member, we will process the following personal data of the Member.
- Personal contact and identification details, such as your name and email address, ID number, and date of birth
- Your membership account details, such as your Member ID, Member email address, and password. This information is necessary to create a personal account with our association.
Why, for what purpose, and for how long do we process your data?
- Maintaining the relationship and managing your membership account, based on the execution of the contractual relationship and compliance with legal obligations. Your data will be kept for as long as you are a member of the association and, once the relationship has ended, for the duration of the statute of limitations for any legal actions that may arise from it.
- Responding to orders, requests, resolving queries, submitting complaints or suggestions, or any other type of request made by the Member, all on the basis of the consent given, or the execution of the contractual relationship, compliance with a legal obligation on our part (in the case of complaints related to the service or data protection), or the defense of our legitimate interests. Your personal data will be kept for the entire duration of the management of your query, request, or complaint and even afterwards, until any liabilities arising from it have expired.
- To provide you with personalized information about campaigns, events, programs, or activities within the framework of the association, protected by PURPLE BOOST’s legitimate interest based on the exception provided for in Article 21.2 of Law 34/2002 of July 11, on information society services and electronic commerce (LSSICE).
- Conduct opinion polls or market research based on PURPLE BOOST’s legitimate interest.
- Include you in the PURPLE BOOST database for sending the newsletter when you subscribe to the newsletter via the form on the website. These communications will be sent by PURPLE BOOST and will be related to the activities of the association and its partners, with whom it has reached a promotional agreement. In this case, third parties will never have access to personal data, provided that the Member has given their express consent. Your data will be kept until the Member withdraws their consent.
- If the Member consents to the transfer of their data to third parties, these parties may send the Member commercial communications about their own products and services. Your data will be processed in accordance with the privacy policies of these companies. You may revoke your consent at any time by contacting the addresses indicated in these policies.
Depending on the case, the communication of minimum personal data is an essential requirement in order to fulfill the purpose for which it is requested, so if you do not provide it, we may not be able to provide the requested product or service. If all the data is not provided, there is no guarantee that the information and services provided will be completely tailored to your needs. In this regard, you must ensure that the personal data provided to PURPLE BOOST is accurate and you are responsible for communicating any changes to it. Similarly, when Members provide personal data of family members, friends, partners, or any other third parties related to the Member, they must undertake to inform them of PURPLE BOOST’s privacy policy and, in general, of the terms set forth herein, and obtain the consent of these third parties for the processing of their personal data.
Unless the Member indicates otherwise, the personal data retention periods indicated above will apply, for which they are responsible.
Unless the Member indicates otherwise, the personal data retention periods indicated above will apply, so it is your responsibility to keep them up to date. Once the specified period has elapsed, and when their processing is no longer necessary for the purpose for which they were collected, they will be deleted using appropriate security measures to ensure the anonymization of the data or their complete destruction.
To whom is the data transferred?
No personal data will be disclosed to third parties except, if necessary for the development and execution of the purposes of the processing, to our service providers related to communications with whom PURPLE BOOST has signed confidentiality and/or data processor agreements as required by current privacy regulations.
The foregoing is understood without prejudice to those transfers of personal data that are necessary for the execution of the contractual relationship, or in compliance with legal obligations, or when the Member has expressly consented to the transfer of their data, such as to event sponsors, or transfers made for the publication of images on PURPLE BOOST’s social networks.
Will international data transfers take place?
In the data processing carried out by PURPLE BOOST, we need to contract external services that may involve your data being stored and/or processed by organizations that are established or operate outside the European Union, which would imply that we carry out international transfers of your data. However, these transfers are carried out under security and compliance guarantees, as stipulated by current data protection legislation.

Likewise, when Members consider that their rights have not been effectively exercised, they may file a complaint with the Spanish data protection agency.
