07/11/2025The LEC returns to Madrid for the first time in 2026 with a historic road trip. The top four teams from the last split will face off just before the start of the Spring Playoffs. An epic weekend at a spectacular venue.
For the second time in 2026, the LEC is coming to Spain, and this time it’s Madrid’s turn. Movistar KOI will host the LEC Roadtrip weekend at the Madrid Arena. This marks the second time Spain’s capital has hosted this event, following the success of the 2025 edition, which featured some of the most epic matches in the history of the continent’s top competition.

Dates and tickets
The LEC Spring Roadtrip will take place on May 8, 9, and 10, 2026, at the Madrid Arena Madrid arena in Madrid.
Tickets can be purchased at Entradas.com at the following prices:

The Club Fénix pass is available only to members of the official KOI fan club. Members who hold these seats will be able to enjoy:
- Priority pass.
- Exclusive gift.
- Meet & greet with players and content creators.
In addition, the Club Fénix section includes the animation area. This is where the sound of trumpets, drums, and all kinds of paraphernalia will take the cheering experience to the next level. If you want to be part of this area, you must purchase tickets in Section 115, for seats numbered 2 through 10.

Teams and matches
Teams that will be playing in Madrid are the top four finishers from the winter split:
- Movistar KOI
- G2 Esports
- Karmine Corp
- Giantx

All matches will be best-of-three (BO3) and are part of the final round of the regular season, so it’s quite likely that several of these teams will be fighting for a spot in the playoffs.
Where is the event taking place?
The event will take place at the Madrid Arena, located on Avenida de Portugal , s/n. Below, we’ll tell you how to get to the event by public transportation.
Subway
The closest station to the Madrid Arena is Lago on line 10.
The subway runs from 6:05 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. Keep in mind that the last trains depart at 1:33 a.m. from each line's terminus. In other words, the last train runs between 1:33 a.m. and 2:00 a.m., depending on the station.

Please note that the first time you purchase a ticket, you will also need to purchase the multi card, which is a contactless plastic card that you can use to load your tickets. This card costs €2.50 and is valid for 10 years.

Bus
The closest stop to Madrid Arena is Avenida de Portugal - Avenida Principal and the bus line that stops there is the 33.
Buses normally run from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on weekdays and from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on sundays and holidays.
Buses with an N in front of the number are night buses, also known as “buhos”, which usually run between midnight and 7:00 a.m., but you will need to check the specific schedule for each line.

You can use a multi-card with a metro bus. However, single-trip tickets can only be purchased on the bus. The ticket costs €1.50, and bills larger than €5 are not accepted for payment.

Bicimad
This is a public electric bicycle rental system run by Madrid City Council. There is an extensive network of 630 stations throughout the city with more than 7,700 bicycles in service. It is a fast and environmentally friendly way to get around Madrid in a short time.
To start traveling with Bicimad, you need a membership card. Download the official app and enter your details to receive a code, which you can use to obtain your card from any of the kiosks located at the charging stations.
The prices for the trips are as follows:

First 30 minutes: €0.50.

Second 30-minute increment: €0.50.

Subsequent increments of up to 30 minutes: €3.

The closest station to Madrid Arena is Metro Lago. But you can check all the bike-sharing stations on this map, which also provides information on the availability of bikes at each one.

Train
There isn't a train station near Madrid Arena, but you can transfer to the metro at Príncipe pio station.
The general commuter train schedule is from 5:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., but you can find the specific schedule for each line here .
Train tickets on Madrid's commuter rail system vary in price depending on the zone you're departing from and the zone you're traveling to. Príncipe Pio is in Zone A. If you want to check the zones and see the stations, you can do so on this map.

Please note that the Renfe&tú card is required to load tickets. It costs €0.50 and is reusable, so don't throw it away. You can use it whenever you want to take another local train journey.
